Define “Blogging”
Often confused with journaling and logging. Blogging has depth. It does not count your daily routines. It is not a list. It’s metacognative. As stated in Journalism 2 class today, it is incompleted when uncommented and unread.
“As transactional writing, as writing to be intereacted with, to be returned to and reflected upon.” (Glogowski, 2005)
A good exapmle was done by former J2 student, E. Anderson.
Anderson read, processed and re-presented in an organized format. Comments are given along with new information. (Check the first comment on the entry about Geraldine Ferraro.) The original writer reads and responds. Connections are made by the third person to comment.
Information is read, processed, recycled and reused. It spreads through out the blogging network.
