Now you’re getting it!
Graham is the first of you to directly reference a classmate in a post. The highest level of blogging involves that exchange of ideas. He references and expands on the points that Minnie makes, and then he responds to Sara’s post and takes it a step further by asking a question in return. Graham’s blog is also growing to show his personality and interests.
Remember, that when you link to people, copy and paste the link of the actual post, not just their blog. When you do that, they’ll get a comment on their post and be able to see when they’re being referenced!
I was talking to a couple of you after school today, and I talked about how what I like so much about this blogging process is that it gives me a chance to be jealous of you. Your thoughts frequently amaze me and get me asking questions of myself. You’re all so much more capable than I was in high school, and the work you produce is better than just about anything journalistic I produced in college. When people say that high schoolers are less productive or dedicated than they used to be, they should take a look at what you’re doing here.
Thanks again, everybody.
